In the middle of the night 

A loud cry was heard by 

Crept near to see 

But no one stood by...


I thought it was my mistake 

Went back to bed 

A second later 

Jumped up instead...


Who could it be 

Am I still dreaming 

A pinch I need it seems 

Indeed it was a dream...
