A Girl With Deep Eyes..

Let me tell you a tale,

Of a girl, shy yet passionate,

Yearnings and longings she had,

A lust and love for life.

Bohemian and a nomad she was

By spirits, which soared as in dreams,

Few understood her innocence,

Rather mocking at her poverty.

She cared not, she rode alone,

A life built on faith and conviction,

If sunset comes, sunrise is there too,

A matter of perception she knew,

But narrow people with tunnel vision,

Mocked at her free will and carefree attitude.

Her eyes were deep, as a chalice,

Which has seen more pain than ecstasy,

Yet a joie de vovre, joy of life,

She lived every moment.

The ones whom she cared,

Slowly dwindled into oblivion,

Alone and haunting loneliness

Became her friend, as shadows of nemesis,

Followed her, in her solitude, and to

Break her spirits.

Her love for Nature and seasons,

Her passion for enjoying the music,

As long as the vinyl records played,

She danced to the tune of life,

Death she feared not,

For every day she lived,

Carpe diem.

Some called her spring girl,

Some autumn auburn,

With her tresses flowing in the wind,

The scorching summer or barren winter,

Could not drown her rapturous highs.

No cages of humans,

No chains of attachment,

She lived a life on her terms,

Even though she had little,

But empty palms shall all take leave someday.

Like a wild flower she was,

Unpretentious yet beautiful,

Her child within, so innocent and alive,

Prancing and dancing,

She chose her path,

She was a girl with deep eyes.
