Hey, my rose! 

Receive this rose,

From a thorn of yours.

You were there

though it was unfair

for a beauty so pure.

No one accepted

I felt so dejected,

until you came along.

I had a feeling

that life’s just reeling

and there’s nowhere I belong.

I know you got hurt

when I tried to flirt

with my sharp pokes.

But you soothed me with your persistence

and fragranced my existence,

with our talks, love and jokes.
