An Enslaved Existence
An Enslaved Existence
When minutes and hours goes by,
We impatiently curse and depreciate the urban traffic
But when months and years goes by,
She hopes and pleads and cries not to get trafficked.
When we build our dreams upon goals
And objectives to become a success,
A girl in the dark place builds the memories of her early life
And waits until the death gives her the final recess.
When we eat as if will never be able to eat again,
A girl in the blood light gets beaten again and again.
When we let the sunshine invade our eyes,
A child bonded opens a tiny window and begins wiping her endless cries.
When we live and always do what we have always liked,
A little soul is taken for granted by the burden of her poverty and is given a drink that's spiked.
The one who uses power for corruption has always been below our feet,
But thousands of enslaved souls just wait for their frozen heartbeat.
