An evening.........

In the evening, I became lost in the crowd of clouds.

Tears began to fall like gentle rain from my eyes.

She played with my heart with a sword and then left,

Now memories of her flood my mind in the evening.

As the earth quaked, my dreams were reduced to ashes,

Painful stories left me speechless, shining in the evening.

Each day, stars fall from the sky of my mind,

Thorns pierce my feet as I walk through the evening.

I couldn't reconcile my emotions with reality,

So I drowned my dreams in the ocean of the evening.

As I watch the sun set, waves rise up in the sea of my mind,

And beautiful colors of hope spread across the evening sky.
