We just cross each other like strangers unknown.

Will you scream my name amongst the crowd?

Or do I need to tell myself that I am still alone?

And if one day,

We just find each other in some poetry cage.

Is it going to melt you?

Or do I need to turn to the next page?

And if one day,

We just collide with each other in the form of a hug.

Will the warmth be able to hold you?

Or do I need to empty the expectation mug?

And if one day,

We just meet at a common friend's place.

Will the two of us smile at each other?

Or do we have to still run in the one-sided race?

And if one day,

We just mould each other in something called forever.

Is it going to make you bend over your knees?

Or do I need to wake myself up from a dream that is on the path of never?

And if one day,

I just express what I actually feel.

Is it letting me enter your life in real,

Or do I need to close my eyes for the reel?

And if one day,

We just end up being an unfinished story full of pain.

Is it going to make you finally love me,

Or do I need to wait till the next life again?
