Animal Farm" By George Orwell

Published in 1945, a satirical allegory that uses a group of farm animals.

"Animal Farm" is a powerful critique of totalitarianism, 

And the corruption of ideals, also of authoritarianism.

We allow persons in the name of ideals to be in power,

They betray the very principles they claim to uphold for getting power.

The novella illustrates how power can corrupt those who attain it,

And about how slogans reflect the distortion of truth in new commandments.

The novella's relevance extends beyond its historical context, 

Making it a timeless piece of political literature in every time event.

The story is set on Manor Farm, Rebel is made against human owner, Mr. Jones, 

By animals, Old Major, a wise boar due to their mistreatment led the animals.

It outlines the principles of "Animalism," a philosophy advocating equality.

The human enjoys privileges while the other animals live in poverty.

Animals, led by the pig's Snowball and Napoleon,

Made a revolt, and the humans were overthrown.

The animals rename the farm "Animal Farm" and establish their own rules,

At first, the farm thrives under the new system, but over time, violates rules.

Napoleon becomes more and more like the humans,

Against whom they originally United made rebellion. 

They manipulated the other animals,

And rewrite history becoming corrupt leaders.

The Seven Commandments gradually altered their attitude,

The pigs even form alliances with the humans, which they once opposed. 

The other animals work hard but receive little in return having no equality,

In the end, the pigs enjoy privileges while the other animals live in poverty.

"Animal Farm" is a thinly veiled allegory for the events of the Russian Revolution,

The animals represent various classes and figures from that era of revolution. 

In the novel Old Major symbolizes the great Karl Marx,

 Napoleon represents Joseph Stalin after achieved the revolution.

The pigs symbolizing Karl Marx, start with noble intentions,

Gradually Joseph Stalin became a tyrannical ruler, betraying the principles.

The story reflects the struggle between the working class (the other animals) and

And the ruling class (the pigs) after the victory in class struggle. 

It demonstrates the principles of how revolutions can sometimes,

Leading to the replacement of one oppressive regime with another.

Orwell's work is a critique of the political system in the world,

The revolution is co-opted by power-hungry individuals or groups in the world.
