At Peace

I am not a Saint,

I m no believer in purity,

But at least I am at peace with myself.

My life got ruined,

My soul got crushed,

I kept on punishing myself,

To give pleasure to others,

Kept on burdening my soul

for the sins of others,

There are always limits of sufferings,

The memories of painful moments,

have always been tormenting.

But now I am at peace with myself.

I must not forget my limitations,

for long am I going to be the guilt carrying spirit,

My heart gets hit everytime it is broken,

The rude and conspicuous actions of the relations,

Makes it everytime difficult to gather my thoughts,

What happens when I think only for myself,

At least one part of life only belongs to me,

Love it or end it depends on me,

I have convinced myself that I am doing all wrong,

At least for once I need to be the priority of my life,

It's only my opinion which matters to me.

At least I know that I am now at peace with myself.
