Audit Of Life
Audit Of Life
On the porch, relaxing on a beanbag
Eyeing the Sun crawling down at a soft pace,
And the Moon unfurling at its own pace
A wave of thoughts twinkled the cerebrum
Commanding to do an audit of life
Witnessed numerous mutations from being
Skinny to BMI fit
Inert to alert
Shy to bold
Clutter to clarity
Studious bespectacled to carefree goggles geek
Baby in a cocoon to the grown-up colourful butterfly
Nevertheless, certain things remain unchanged,
With time, place, and company
These define my fears, passions, and bucket list
Before this material body gets burnt in ashes
I wish someday,
I do the scariest thing
I nail my passions
I tick off all bucket list items
And let the soul fly high peacefully with no regrets
I promise my heart,
I will do many more audits to see
Standpoint on chasing dreams
Turning them into actions
And triumph over this one life
Thank you, my lovely cerebrum
You're sharp and better with age!
