Beautiful Eyes

As we stood there in the sand

Face to face, holding hands

You looked into my eyes

And I gazed back into yours.

And for a moment time stood still.

And the words we never spoke

Found their way to our hearts.

Perhaps we both found

Our way through the tunnel

While gazing into each other's soul

And finding that perfect match

In a universe we call our own.

And all I can think about

In this moment that seems to be infinite

Are your beautiful eyes

How they are a wondrous maze to get lost in
