Time again today was the day of immersion, Ten days of Ganesh Utsav and celebrations.

Great pomp and pride, our very own city’s delight.

Was it a real end, or did it strike a hope for new beginning,

In spite of all odds to keep the spirit alive, that’s why Mumbaikar’s are happening.

Exactly a week back Mumbai was struck by deluge which threw people off pace,

Today eve on my way back home, I did not see any remorse on those thousands of facade.

Those were affected by the catastrophe of our own Mother Nature, prayed for the well-being to our creator.

All I saw were smiling expressions, immersed in faith and devotion, air filled with colors of love and affection.

Who cared what tomorrow holds, all wanted to embrace essences and live to the soul.

Beautiful ladies clad in nine yards, bliss and joy filled their hearts.

Innocence of those adolescent all that delightful remembrance.

Faith and assurance in the Almighty, trust and conviction is the reality.

Festivities and merriment continue, Life taught us don’t give up, but get through.

Ganesha for sure will be back next year, blessed us assuring he would always be here…
