Blood River

Cloud had gathered above

Crowd had congregated below.

Cloud was thereto shed the monsoon rain

Crowd to shed the communal blood

For the cloud it was nature's call.

For the crowd, it was their leader's call.

Soon it started to rain

Washed away the blood into the drain.

When it all ended

Humanity’s nature had got clouded.

And the hatred remained ingrained.
