Confusion in Cooking
There was peace in the kitchen until I stepped in to cook,
I had to show off my expertise, in my hand the recipe book!
It says “Red pepper”, white or black pepper is in my ken,
“From where can I get it?” I wrack my confused brain.
I just want to wield my magic ladle, and cook up a storm,
But for making a doughnut, where do we get the nut from?
Or what special kind of eggs do we obtain from an Eggplant?
In the recipe, there are ingredients which I so urgently want.
Snake gourd is a reptile or a vegetable? Will you enlighten me?
I reluctantly leave the kitchen; maybe it is not a place for me!
