Conversation with Creator.

In the world of fiction, where stories unfold,

Characters come alive, with tales to be told.

But what of the creator, the one who's in charge,

Do they care for their characters, or is it just a mirage?

One day, in a novel's pages deep,

The characters were in a conflict, emotions steep.

As they fought and bickered, with swords drawn,

They noticed a presence, the creator's yawn.

"What's going on?" said one, stopping the fight,

"Are you not bothered, by this violent sight?"

The creator smirked, eating popcorn with glee,

"Kill each other, my puppets, it's all the same to me."

The characters were stunned, their hearts filled with pain,

To think their creator, felt nothing but disdain.

As they battled on, with fury and hate,

The creator laughed, enjoying their fate.

But then a voice, soft and gentle, spoke out,

"I care for you all, there is no doubt."

The creator looked down, with eyes that were kind,

"You all mean so much to me, you're all intertwined."

The characters stopped, their weapons at bay,

As they listened to what the creator had to say.

They had been so focused, on their own plight,

That they had forgotten, the creator's insight.

And so they talked, the characters and their maker,

As they worked through their issues, and the plot that would take her.

The creator listened, with a heart that was true,

For in this world of fiction, their characters mattered too.

And as the conversation ended, and the characters moved on,

The creator watched, with a sense of pride and bond.

For they had created, a world that was rich and grand,

A place where characters could thrive, and truly understand.
