The human life is a wondrous kind

Its oh so unique not another to find

And strange indeed are some facts of life

For I know me not until I am five

With a sense of pride and friends so wide

From halting steps to a swinging gait

Fun-filled hours and dreamy days

Light and blithe was the teenage phase

Friends once dear have said goodbye

College days too soon slipped by

In the blink of an eye in this drama of life

Varied roles come by, cant fathom why

From family ties in numerous forms

Personal woes and social norms

With shattered faith and trying times

Though sprinkled well with joyful chimes

This journey of life amidst smiles and tears 

Has moments precious, forever dear

The highs and lows make the sugar and spice
