Culture Of Maharashtra

Maharashtra the state of my residence,

A state where diversity is fairly seen,

Where not only Maharashtrians stay but all who come to stay feel one,

A place where Shivaji Maharaj is considered a real hero and respected a lot,

Where Makar Sankranti brings tilgul and even Gujarati kites are seen flying up from the floor.

Where Ganesha is not only in Maharashtrians home rather all welcome Ganesha with a lot of fun and shoot,

Where nauvari is worn to enlighten the beauty of each festival and Lavani dance adds more fun,

Both signify the importance and beauty of festival on the floor ,

The state of Maharashtra has a huge history unlike any other,

And it's tourist attractions are such which must be viewed at least one's

All the festival's and traditions they follow symbolizes the simplicity Maharashtrians believe in,

Where for them no materialism is required only a bhakri on a plate and some pennies for survival bring lots of fun.
