Dark Night
Dark Night
I have seen this night flourishing,
The people running through adverse,
All our race getting dragged down,
By the lawless hounds of cruelty,
I have witnessed people calling for aid
But in vain no one responded to the cry,
Be it the fate of our motherland,
But still, there is a so-called thing humanity
Deep in my heart, I bore this pain,
But I have the faith in bright day,
When the lone bird will sing songs of victory,
When the nightingale will produce the sweet sound,
I sometimes question my identity in my own home,
Where I am living like an alien of a distant land.
