Detachment

Tell me your fears,

The things your heart longs and mourns for,

The well of darkness you fell into

But there was no rope to pull you out,

Cry,

Don't stop,

I assure you, I will not twitch even

a single muscle in my face,

I will remain content,

Sober,

Without remorse.

You may feel fires burning

Inside you, a thirst,

Which you would expect

Me to quench,

But I will become a tree,

rock without a soul.

You would probably feel like

Hitting me,

Hang me,

Shoot me,

Push me off from a building,

Then ask my dead body,

"How you can be so detached?",

Let me tell you,

As I am detached from you,

I am much more from myself,

And the day you learn to do so,

That day,

This Agony could hurt you

No more.
