Sensational brownie,sugarlicious cake, dearest and oldest friend lemonade,

Never get enough of their greed, as our taste bud never rest

Always hungry, ready to pee ,

Give me some water, in the hectic spree

Few of us "diabetics" are specially blessed

As insulin resistant, keep our bodies stressed.

Fear, depression occupies our mind,

As we feel helpless, for all the sweetness denied.

But a little care, persistent exercise,

Monitoring sugars without surprise.

Keeping track of hemoglobin glycosylated,

Lead to healthy life uninhibhited.

Nephropathy, neuropathy, retinopathy, deranged lipids and diabetic feet, just turn terms for sure,

As diabetes says,"prevention is better than cure".
