Different Shades of Light
Different Shades of Light
We glimpse colours
Tinted and flavoured
A taste entirely savoured
In no specific numbers
Crossbreeding a red and yellow
Would give birth to an orange lil fellow
Alas! Our colour shades and traits
Would engender undesirable backdates
Though we were quilted in endearment
Why, for our union, they procrastinate and lament?
Separation, excommunication or death as judgment
Whatever path chosen, will only result in a torment
We are different shades of light
Classified as how our skin or traits are bright
Discarded and pushed out of sight
Our path, accordingly, is unright
