Duty Of Every Philosopher

Philosophy consists of knowing what said by other philosophers,

Which can be added to their own from previous philosophers.

Thinking that none of these great men offered us any thought,

Nor is their work having any importance, it is of bigot's thought.

There is reason for subjecting to this discipline in philosophy,

Because idea of thesis, synthesis produces the synthesis in philosophy.

Thales of Miletus, the father of philosophy, rested his reputation,

Statement “all is water” has effect though no help in government formation.

To say and express a view that Plato was virtually a Fascist,

It is product of non-consideration of time and it is of bigot's thought.

René Descartes, founder of modern philosophy, has relevance,

Though he took very little interest in political questions.

Thomas Hobbes thought obedience to the Government,

It is a virtue to be inculcated to a citizen for Democratic Government.

David Hume's two maxims that Scotsman is better than an Englishman,

May be on his synthesis on the basis of his experience of an Englishman.

Georg W. F. Hegel believed in absolute monarchy on his own observations,

One cannot say past philosophers did not show any aptitude to public affairs. 

John Locke came at the end of a period of unrest in England,

It was during civil war brought about by the rivalry of fanatics' end.

 

This caused him to seek a temper of mind to live together in peace.

The temper of mind that he recommended was one of tolerance.

The tolerance was opined that earlier views are questionable,

There again been civil strife in England & his teaching was successful.

Every philosopher faces with the problems of the present day,

Will find help him in the dicta of analysis of his predecessor' s way.
