Enough is enough
Enough is enough
The morn saw a flock of birds fly in
Pitched on the window outside her room
Each spread their feathers as if in a dance
She watched with curiosity
Their song was a tune foreign to her
But it stung like a bee in her heart
Its pain the weight too heavy to bear
She silently secretly kept it to herself
With each passing day the thought within consumed her life
Of what she witnessed that morn in her dream
Their relationship grew distant
She sometimes felt he was cheating on her
Then as if in a dream she was told by her family
A bed of comfort in another woman's embrace he found
The pain was enough to take her life, she told herself enough is enough
That morn she saw no light no bird at the window
All was total darkness and silence
All she saw was a ship in the sky sailing across the sky
She had finally left for another kingdom where no pain to bear any longer
