Escape

Bright moonlight

So reflective,

Yet thoughts bewildered

Uncommunicative;

Bed though soft

Yet a feel itchy,

Mind deeply frozen

Shadows witchy;

In head muscle

What jumbled,

That late night

Someone sidled;

Drowsy eyes

Thoughts in rows,

Swiftly, silently

A shadow bows;

A voice deep

Hissed in-ear,

Overpowering me

With a fear;

The defined silence

Too suicidal,

Escape! Escape!

Was the signal;

"Come! Let us quit

All struggles

Go in sky

For peace and giggles"

Escape fantasy!

Escape reality!

Trapped in thoughts

Complete perplexity;

Suddenly the core

Experienced awakening,

What reeled in mind

Was reasoning;

An escape is

An art, not worthy

But stamped signs

Of inability

Can one ever be

Free from the human vow

So clumsy! Inclined to

Take each as a foe

There could be days

Quite sunny

When one tends

To Sleep tightly

Then the rhythm of rain too

Sucks the heat

Soothing showers bring

Movement in feet

Here I answered

The hissing voice

"What is fear

What is rejoice;

My heart is here

My peace is here

Negative, shall I erase

Then gone is the fear".

The voice giggled,

"For your broken heart

You and I are one

Never, can we depart;

Come! Break the thread

Gaze at that star

Seek a sweeter life

Go, where joy & love are".

I became firm

To play my part,

Without being pity

Life is smart;

Losing grit wholely is

Questioning the destiny,

Karma, my own treasure

Is the harsh reality;

ESCAPE! A monster

Washes the faith,

I negate the style

Negate unfaith.........
