Fairytale: - Is It Fair Enough?
Fairytale: - Is It Fair Enough?
We have all heard fairytale,
In our lives,
With pink castles,
And beautiful lives.
And we slept without caring much,
As why were the fairytale as such
With meek heroines,
And handsome heroes.
With damsels in distress,
And dragons to fought with,
With fairy godmother,
Ever at rescue only if you listened.
But why was it that,
The heroines never had brains
Or were not supposed to use,
Since beauty and brain never got along.
Please give a reversal of roles,
With a Prince in distress,
For us to play the knight in Armour,
For we are the Women of the Day
We would rather be,
The Red Riding Hood with a mind,
And risk being eaten up,
Than being the meek Sleeping Beauty,
To be awoken by the Dashing Prince.
Give us the credit of beauty with brains,
Than full beauty and no brains,
For we are the Women of the day,
With Mind of our own,
And no Fairytale,
Can ever be Unfair with Us.
