FEAR & PANIC & STUFF

Is this my life? Making do?

Mustn’t upset anybody

Lurch from nervousness

To worry to fear, to PANIC

Deep breaths, calm down

Reassess the situation, it will pass

Everything has a timeline

The only question is what comes

First? My coping or whatever’s out

There is coming to get me. Is my experience

Solitary; am I the only one to feel it

As unsettling as it is, I suspect not

So, if you can relate to my experience

I say, “don’t let it get you down”

Hum an old song in your mind

And repeat, “I can do this”

“You won’t stop me.” 

For a wonderful moment 

feel brave and in control
