Festivals Of Joy And War

The beauty of festivals 

Is seen in India

Where hundreds of festivals are celebrated 

With love and joy

There still are differences 

While celebrating diwali and eid 

But what's the point in fighting over these? 

Religion shouldn't come in between 

The festivals we celebrate 

Because our constitution says that we practice fraternity 

Then why the question of religion comes in between 

When we say happy diwali and eid mubarak?

Even though there are these differences

I am sure that there'll be one day

When we are united on these same festivals

Cause' we all know what they say

United we stand but divided we fall.
