Flower That Never Bloomed

Flower That Never Bloomed

Silent and still lies the bud that never opened,

A symbol of life's potential, forever unspoken,

Its beauty is hidden, unseen by human eyes,

A secret locked within, concealed from the skies.

Petals curled tightly, like a fortress it stands,

Unwilling to reveal all, a mystery in its hands,

The sun and rain passed, but still, it remained closed,

A destiny sealed, a story never told.

Perhaps it was meant to keep its secrets within,

To be a reminder that not all beauty needs to begin,

With the outward appearance, for there is something more profound,

A mystery that resides in the heart of every sleeper.

Even in death, it holds a beauty unknown,

A flower un-bloomed, a spirit never shown,

A symbol of life's potential left unfulfilled,

A reminder of the mysteries, we have yet to be thrilled about.

A seed once planted deep, with care and hope's kept,

The flower that never bloomed, forever in our hearts will seep,

Silent and still, it lay, in the soil's warm embrace,

Awaiting spring's day, a chance to reveal its grace.

But the winds of fate blew, and the season passed too soon,

The flower that never grew, its life forever marooned,

Its beauty is forever lost, a mystery that remains,

A symbol of life's cost, of our joys and pains.

For in its fleeting grace, we find the essence of our race,

A reminder of our place, in this world's endless space,

A symbol of hope, and the potential we possess,

To bloom into something beautiful, and leave our own impression.
