Gaslighting a woman

In my law practice,

I have visited with many real things,

A husband says her wife having ill intention,

That she was sleeping with men,

Pointing to men on the street standing,

Asking her to identify which ones were waiting,

Then he calls her a ‘prostitute’.

This tactics brings a result,

His sexual gaslighting strategies inhibited wife’s mobility,

She began to stay home all the time,

Refusing to go out outside,

Because she feared,

Her husband would repeat the stories.

Husband would steal wife’s money,

Tells her she was ‘careless’ then,

By such hypocrite statement,

Wife had lost its faith herself.

Hsband hid wife’s phone and

Told her she had lost it then,

It was done in a dual effort,

In order to confuse her and

Prevent her from communicating with others.

Husband stealing her keys,

So she could not leave the house and

He did again and again,

Then insisting she had lost them again.

The idea is of men,

About women,

That thay are inherently irrational,

Masculinity equals reason and

Femininity equals overemotionality and unreason.

If someone is intentionally distorting reality,

Making another feel like what she seeing or feeling is ureality,

The other person could be a victim of gaslighting.

Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation,

Abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion,

Abuser seeks to gain power over a person,

His intention is to control over the other person,

Only this can be done,

Distorting the reality one and

Forcing other to question,

Her own judgment and intuition,

It's making someone seem or feel unstable,

Irrational and

Not credible,

Making her feel that

What she is seeing or experiencing isn't real.

This conduct was shown in a 1938 play

titled Gas Light,

It was adapted into the 1940 film

Gas Light,

It was followed by the better-known

1944 film Gas Light,

The starring were Charles Boyer and

Ingrid Bergman,

And in each work, a male protagonist

convinces his wife,

That she’s imagining things that are

actually happening,

With the result of making her to believe

she’s gone insane.
