HALF WRITTEN
HALF WRITTEN
We two sat, on the rock silently
Where we used to sit days before
Not a single word was exchanged
There was nothing left to talk now
We knew the reality of life is this
Parting away, was the final for any life
No one in this world could ever change
She got up and gave me a final look
Her eyes vacant dried of all tears now
She turned and walked away abruptly
I sat silently watching her disappear
With an aching heart, I got up, I saw
Letter, Fluttering under a small stone
I picked it up, with moist eyes read it
Her half-written poem, left unfinished
