Where the sea meets the sky and into your arms I'd lie

Would be heaven on earth where my heart would love to reside

But I search far and wide and hours I chase 

Watch every sunset not even a shadow I sight of you

I hear your voice but it's in my head 

I hate to admit but I don't think you're coming back

You said you'd love to go for a break away from the city lights for a while

I accepted your choice but now know you were lying to me

For after a week you did take a break and I wondered why

Only to read on the newspaper you had departed into the kingdom of rest

It sure was a shock but I now accept the fact

You did go home to rest from the life that stole your happiness

You're where you always wanted to be 

Soundly sleeping far from my sight at a place I may never get to see

Your home that's where you're heart is
