I Burn

The way 

You have reneged 

And shattered dreams 

Of my eyes, 

I have lost faith 

In love.

My prosthetic heart 

Even can't dare 

To hanker after you.

I burn 

In such a fire that 

No extinguisher 

Can pour water.

Even though 

Your feigned 

And spurious love 

Comes for my rescue, 

It pokes the fire, 

I burn 

And the pain 

Doesn't get mitigated.
