I was a fool,....isn't it....could've waited,....a bit longer,......instead,....I carry, to eternity,...your pain,.....

people wonder at my stern face,...stony,.....remorseless,........

I have become an expert in hiding my tears,.......you tried,....no denying,.....I rode the high horse,.....I hurt you,....mentally and physically,....

you bore me,.....hopeful for a better tomorrow,....and for me,......

I learnt ....love...and loss from you.....

you know,.....love isn't for the weak hearted,.....I could've died once,...being with you,.....

I die every second,....being alone,....ooooh,...this pain,....so searing,...the disease failed to show mercy,....you were my best friend and mate,......I'm maybe in the twilight zone,...talking to you,....loving your laughter,.....
