Vicious our wanderings, eternal fight. 

Rosary of Thy name, our shield from sin,

Our obscure layers, our darkness and shade, 

dissolve in Thy presence, turbid twilight,

to calming dawn, in Thy loving cascade. 

All that we deserve, all that we desire, 

trivial, fiddling, conceptions of mind,
