Namaste!! I think you all know me,

I am an Indian cricketer,

Since the age of 15 cricket, I’ve been practising,

My biggest talent is bowling,

Yet I (in playing) am an all-rounder,

When I was a little girl, I had to travel to Kolkata (there were no cricket facilities) as to play cricket I was keen,

In the year 1982 in India, West Bengal, Chakdaha,

I was born on November 25th,

Was the former captain of our nation’s cricket team,

In 2018 I was the first person in the WODIs to take 200 wickets, I broke this record against Africa,

Thrice in Wtest (woman’s test cricket tournament), I’ve taken five wickets in an inning,

I have even been awarded the Padma Shri,

The Chakdaha Express and Babul, I am nicknamed

I was recently consulted as (for our country) a coach-player,

From 2007 till 2017 I was the highest wicket-taker,

In 2021 I became known as the fastest bowler,

Internationally and in ICC, I’m the leading wicket-taker,

In and around the country (because I’m one of the fastest bowlers) I am famed,

My guess is by now you know who I am,

25 is my jersey number,

You all would have seen me in the post stamp in April 2018,

I practice every second of the week,
