Keeper

Narcissism prevails,

in the crowd

I become

flabbergasted,

in the crowd

I become alone.

Air becomes

Short of oxygen,

I feel suffocated.

As

I decide not to gallop

for success

and supremacy,

air again brings

a plethora of oxygen,

I breathe with peace.



I close my eyes

and

a mellow voice

lilts from inside,

'Oh! My keeper,

be yourself,

maintain your

goodness

and

never hanker after

false things,

do your work sincerely

and

never let the peace

to whisper adieu

to you'.
