Last Desire
Last Desire
My external world is overwhelmed
With my successes
Praise, applauding and admiration
Showering on me persistently
But still, I have solitude
The effort to smile is a daunting challenge
For me...
As I miss something desperately
Even I can't express my inner desire
Before others
All come and go with usual talks
But I miss someone's voice
All embrace me with admiration
But I miss someone's hug
All want to make me smile
But I miss someone's smile
As he has not achieved his dreams
He feels embarrassed to reveal his face
But I miss him much to make him
A part of my success
After digesting repeated failures
He has the spirit to fight
At the window
I sit and feel the cold breeze
And reminisce his innocent face
Who has drawn a line of separation
For his success
And I shed the salty drops
I don't know when the moment will come
When he will unveil the face of success
And break all the restrictions for me
O, God!
I have the last ray of hope
That he will accomplish his desire
And make me a part of his life
I will smile on that day
If I explore the eagerly awaited smile
On his face...
