Loneliness
Loneliness
Alone in the dark, I sit and cry,
No one to talk to, not even a sigh.
The emptiness inside me grows,
Like a black hole that nobody knows.
I try to reach out, but no one's there,
My heart is heavy, my soul is bare.
The tears they fall, like rain in the night,
A never-ending pain, that won't take flight.
I long for someone to hold my hand,
To understand me, to take a stand.
But all I feel is this endless ache,
A weight on my chest, that won't forsake.
So here I am, in this place of sorrow,
Hoping that a new tomorrow,
Will bring the light that I so need,
To heal my heart and stop the bleed.
