Lonely

Left on numb emotions,- loving you.

Yet, I'm not alone -cause

I feel you, -as you tug away -tied to me

Missing you,- comes in waves

Right now I'm drowning

Leapt into still waters

Depth,- taking me under

More waves crash,

Crashing, -into my heart space

Fighting these waters,

- tires my body & mind

As my soul emerges,- from love's tides

No longer crashing into me,

Nor tossing,

The push and pull

Subsides

Now, floating

above the waves,

 -as a boat

I stare unto the sky

Left On Numb Emotions, Loving You -still

these turbulent waters,

  -once filled my eyes.
