Lost Diary

My Personal Diary is long gone,

Taken with laughs & old memories,

Like a photo album,

But instead of pictures,

You get everyday words!

Words that leave a sour taste in your mouth!

At the times it meant something,

At the times it meant everything.

But now it seems, the words have No meaning.

My personal diary, where did you go?

Tell me why is it that everyone is so perfect?

While I feel so worthless & they look so happy,

While lately for me, my mood has been Crappy,

And I have come to believe all the things that I am seeing with the blindness of what was real,

And what wasn't that my eyes were accustomed to,

I try to put the blindness back in like a contact lens.

But my actions are Futile,

The battle already Lost,

Because it doesn't fit

I am overgrown & it aggravates the sense.

My eyes go dry & I am so blinded.

As it hurts my eyes to try & see things as they were at 10 years old,

And so I realized long back ago,

That I can't travel back to my safe harbors,

That resided in my Diary!
