LOST IN FANTASY

Sitting under the canopy,

My mind drifted away,

Away to the distant mountains,

Hither thither, my mind lay.

The mountains; barren in winter,

Green-clothed in spring,

Beautiful flowers and ripened fruits

Summer is a beautiful thing.

Then, cool dry winds raged

Shedding the leaves and flowers,

It's autumn; the season, that's aged,

It's the harbinger of cottony showers.

The coldest of all; winter walks in,

Surroundings, painted white,

Lives seemed to freeze, how mean!

Yet life must go on, dull or bright.

Suddenly, I found back my mind,

Which made me; for minutes; blind.

I was in my own life's fantasy,

Helping me receive endless ecstasy.
