Tragedy

Lost voice in a dry desert

Lost voice in a dry desert

Silent sands stretch far and wide,

The scorching sun beats down with pride,

In this arid land, I'm all alone,

My parched throat lets out no tone.

A whisper, a whimper, no sound escapes,

As my voice is lost in the dunes and the scapes,

No help, no aid, no one to hear,

As I struggle to overcome my fear.

The wind howls past, without care,

And my silent plea dissipates in the air,

I long to cry out, to call for aid,

But my voice is gone, forever to fade.

Lost in this desert, I'm left to die,

With no voice to say my final goodbye,

A tragedy, a fate so cruel and dire,

My voiceless screams, a funeral pyre.
