LUCK
LUCK
When everything goes wrong.
Just hum a song
'Luck, why do you elude me?
I've done no wrong,
You send your fang
just to despair me.
In you, I believe not,
faith in you, I have not,
for sincerety, and hope are
are my tongs.
If my efforts you wash,
I shall try and try
till your showers run dry,
and you shall surrender to me.'
If Luck is our Master,
no courage shall one muster,
deeds done will loose its sheen.
Successful ones
depend not on you,
O 'dear Luck !
Determination, hard work
and Trust are their weapons, in the long run.
Bad luck, and good luck, are just meaningless, for fun.
If Luck rules the roost,
It favors those with a will,
turning around the table
for eager and able.
So my dear friends,
give up not, fear not,
believe in yourself,
with perseverance, faith, and grit.
In self-pity, do not wallow
Luck will soon follow.
