Mr and Mrs Lappet

Mr and Mrs Lappet,

Did tappeth,

On pointed toes,

Err ...... On claws, 

And fancy leggings,

And giggled 

Through their 

Feathers,

As their efforts 

Were highly appreciated! 

Flouncy feathery skirts,

Held up for some flirts,

Straight faced eagles,

With Curved Beaks,

Not budging

To the joy of dancing! 

Painted necks,

Pink with anticipation,

Waiting for the music 

To start, 

So they can shake a leggin! 

Posing for a picture,

With legs to die for,

Mr and Mrs Lappet

Stood for the capture,

For us to go into 

Rapture,

Oh, what a lovely picture!
