Weight on my shoulder, falsely accused,

A burden so heavy, feeling so bruised,

Heart full of pain, tears streaming down my face,

Innocent, yet still feeling so misplaced.

Suddenly he left me, my Grandpa so dear,

Days turned into weeks, I couldn't bear,

Tears filled my eyes, as I cried day and night,

A month of sorrow, such a painful sight.

72 published, my soul now unbound,

A creative release, where my emotions abound.

My book now published, such a proud moment,

Suddenly, a change in everyone's comportment,

From taunts and snickers, to admiration and awe,

My heart now sings, a change I never foresaw.

A project so close, for the sake of academia,

Interacting with teachers, such a novel feat,

My confidence soars, a feeling so sweet.

My novel in progress, a primary teacher my friend,

A relationship so strong, one that will not bend,

Bonds formed through words, characters so real,

A connection so pure, a friendship I can feel.

After years of conflicts, our friendship survived,

Our bond now strengthened, no longer deprived,

Four years since we last spoke, a reunion so grand,
