My Kingdom
My Kingdom
Among the poor, the unattended
And the downtrodden masses,
I do find my kingdom,
For there is no politics, no diplomacy,
No backbiting, no competition, no compromise at all.
I am lost in the crowd
Of materialistic people,
Who happened to do
An utterly vain display of vanity...
My peace and tranquility
Get disrupted and vanquished
Amidst selfish grudge and chaos!
So, I walk on the footpath
And gaze at the lunatic beggar...
I wonder how and why
One becomes so helpless...
I, thus, conclude that
May be due to
The treacherous approach
Of someone
Too rigid to be human...
Or else, it may be
The fallacy of changing time...
And that of unworthy people
Close to him or her ;
I, therefore, give an afterthought And ponder...
Yes, I do proudly say
My kingdom has no lavish treasures
And glittering jewels!
Rather, I epitomize my simplicity
In its highest compliment.
I emerge out of all negative comments
And all myopic feedbacks...
I simplify my thought process
And grasp every opportunity
To sit with them
And befriend them,
For I am
Neither a king nor a magician;
I can't make them richer
With any materialistic attachments;
I just transform myself as one of them...
And experience the pain
Of loneliness
Sans gloom...;
I smile with good hope!
I dignify my purposeful life
With all good thoughts
As a human resource.
I believe in the best.
I don't complain.
I never compare,
As I am neither a competitor
Nor a salesman ;
I am a strengthened and consolidated human being.
Thus, I redefine
My unique kingdom, my friends!
Welcome to my kingdom, my friends!
