My Mom- Epitome Of Love
My Mom- Epitome Of Love
My mother always held my hands
She was with me through all my turbulent times
She nursed me, cared for me
She showered untold love and care on me
Her love was transparent
She never saw any monetary benefits in her love
She worked hard toiled under the sun
She walked kilometers for me
She woke early morning
When people fear to tread the roads she walked
During hot afternoons she just put a cloth on her head
But diligently went to school every day
Not a single day she missed
She never took an auto
She saved that single penny also for me
She is my embodiment of love and compassion
Whatever earnings she got she helped me, my family, my cousins
She helped my father
She toiled day and night but saw to it that my father is supported well
She was rebuked, sometimes harassed in social circle
But she daily did her chores
She went empty stomach to school
While returning from school she will see to it that she gets something for me to munch
Those days where I get her sound care are gone
May this lockdown be diluted and eased a little bit so that I can catch a glimpse of her
A noble mother, a mother whose nobility and simplicity is beyond words
