Nature's Harmony
Nature's Harmony
I look down as I walk in the grass,
With the crunch of dried leaves,
As a reminder of the reaping fall.
I hear the tweet of the sparrow,
So sneakily hiding in the trees.
And as I nudge the ball around,
So careless of my surroundings,
The passing watchman burps,
Waking me from a blissful dream.
A cooling breeze blows,
Compelling me to stop moving,
Assuring that it will.
Far away, I hear the distant sounds,
Of cows mooing,
And the buzz of bees,
Sucking nectar from nearby flowers.
And a crow cawing and sitting
Precariously on the branch,
Of a naked tree.
And I realized, hearing all these sounds,
That they all blended into a harmony,
Nature’s imperfect harmony.
