Never Believe An innocent Eye
Never Believe An innocent Eye
Never believe an innocent eye,
That looks at you with a gentle sigh,
For behind that gaze there may lie,
A hidden motive or a cunning spy.
Never believe an innocent eye,
That flatters you with a sweet reply,
For beneath that charm there may hide,
A twisted agenda or a vicious lie.
Never believe an innocent eye,
That tempts you with a dazzling smile,
For within that lure there may reside,
A greedy desire or a wicked guile.
Never believe an innocent eye,
That promises you a blissful high,
For beyond that offer there may await,
A cruel trap or a dreadful fate.
Never believe an innocent eye,
That claims to be your faithful ally,
For beside that bond there may exist,
A secret plot or a hidden twist.
Never believe an innocent eye,
Unless you can see through its disguise,
For only then you can truly know,
If it's a friend or a foe.
