Pure Souls
Pure Souls
A lot has been seen and heard about me
They never let me inside
I see the little hand wave
Whenever I pass by.
I have never felt complete
If ever I miss to see her
She too makes it a habit or reason
To be always near.
I stand in the scorching sun
Whenever the cars stop at the red light
They ignore or push me aside
Some feel scared of my sight.
She never fails to put a smile
On my face
While I struggle in life to keep up the pace.
I wish God would have given me
The power to bloom
I wish I would be accepted
As the others too.
They call me names
They have demarcated lines
They would never let me
Be by her side
But this little heart flows with so
Much love and connects
Two souls whom the society
Would never accept.
