Pursuit of impermanence
Pursuit of impermanence
Oh! Layman, why thou seek the distant craving,
For nothing is permanent, no being, no thing,
That asset thou long to cherish,
Is short-lived for tomorrow to perish.
Mighty knights who conquered the world,
Were blind-folded, beguiled by falsehood,
The burning ashes and its rising smoke,
Says the testimony of the once shiny throne.
Victories and defeat on the battlefield,
Were mere greed of the bigots,
Treasures and pleasures have never been forever,
Thus, let trivial not be thy endeavour.
